Toneden
- Only supports SoundCloud Follow-to-Download
- Doesn't host files on own servers (you need a SoundCloud premium account to host the downloads on there yourself).
- Has some cool statistics and artist profiles
- The other features seem kind of useless (news stream like Twitter)
- Premium service costs $5 per month
Click.DJ
- Support for SoundCloud, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram Follow to Download
- Download statistics
- Add up to 3 additional artists to be followed per download
- Get followed multiple networks per download
- You need a SoundCloud account to get started
- Premium service costs $3 per month
AIA NFlux App (Artist Intelligence Agency)
- Only supports SoundCloud Follow-to-Download
- 'Private' app (it's rumored non-invited users have to pay up to $40 per download page)
- A shady disclaimer that says all connected users will 'contribute to the growth of The EDM Network'.
EDMTunes
- Only supports SoundCloud
- Another shady disclaimer
- Users instantly follow over 10 EDMTunes SoundCloud accounts at once when they download a song
Stereoload & ArtistEngine
- Don't use Stereoload or Artist Engine. Ever.
- Shady, no email replies
- Copied designs from other Follow to Download services
- Both sites are tested, didn't work for a single download, and contacting support never got a reply.
- Don't use these. Ever.
The winner
I would say the clear winner is Click.DJ. Although Toneden has a nice design and some other unrelated features, Click.DJ offers the whole package for all major social networks and has a real focus on allowing artists to build a following using their music. The other apps don't come close and Stereoload and Artist Engine are simply damaging the whole idea of Follow to Download.
